Cutting, Copying & Pasting
When developing a page in Dreamweaver, you
may find it necessary to cut and copy text and images. The
following document will assist you.
NOTES:
Once text or an image is
cut, it no longer appears in
its original location.
When text or an image is copied,
it is not erased from its original location but appears
simultaneously in its new and original locations.

Select the
text or image you wish to cut or copy

On the
Standard toolbar, click CUT
 or
COPY
OR
Press [Ctrl] + [X] or [Ctrl]
+ [C], respectively
NOTE: If cutting text or
an image, it will disappear.

On your page,
place the cursor where you would like the text or image to
appear

On
the Standard toolbar, click PASTE
OR
Press [Ctrl] + [V]
The text or image appears in the new location.
NOTE: The text or image
will stay on your Clipboard until it is replaced or
until the program is exited.
