Find and Replace: Saving a Query
If you frequently use the same Find and Replace
function, you may find it helpful to save the query. Doing so will save you
the time of reconstructing it each time you want to use it. This document
shows you how to save and reuse a Find and Replace query.
Saving
a Query
Save Find and Replace queries that you use often or
those that include multiple conditions and would be time consuming to
reconstruct such as Text (Advanced) or Specific Tag.

From the Edit menu, select Find and
Replace...
OR
Press [Ctrl + [F]
The Find and Replace dialog box appears.

Construct the search

Click SAVE

The Save Query dialog box appears.

Using the Save in pull-down list, select a
location for the file

In the File name text box, type a name for the
query

Click SAVE
Using
a Saved Query
Doing routine Find and Replace functions are
convenient using queries you have previously constructed and saved.

From the Edit menu, select Find and
Replace...
OR
Press [Ctrl] + [F]

Click BROWSE
The Load Query dialog box appears.

Use the Look in pull-down list to navigate to the
file location

Select the query file
-
Click OPEN
Your query appears in the Find and Replace dialog box.
