To help your user move between pages within your
website, you will need to create links to those pages. These
links should be relative
links. Relative links do not include the complete URL, only the
filename and, if not in the same directory, the path of the
file.
Adding
Links Using the Properties Pane
When the link is added the URL should be the file
name (and path if appropriate). If you see: file:///, the
link will not work for your
users.
Adding Links Using the Properties Pane: Folder
Option

Select the text that you want to become the
link

In the Properties pane, to the right
of the Link text box, click BROWSE FOR FILE

The Select File dialog box appears.

Locate and select the desired file

Click OK
Adding Links Using the Properties Pane: Text Box
Option
-
Select the text that you want to become the
link
-
In the Properties pane, in the
Link text box, type the URL

Press [Enter]
Adding Links Using the Properties Pane: Point to
File Option

In the Files pane, from the Site
tab, adjust the view so you can see the file that you
want to link to

Select the text that you want to become the
link
-
In the Properties pane, click and hold
POINT TO FILE

Drag and point to the file you want to link to
A line with an arrow will appear. When you release the mouse
over the desired file, the filename will appear in the
Link text box.
Adding
Links Using the Hyperlink Dialog Box
When the link is added the URL should be the file
name (and path if appropriate). If you see: file:///, the
link will not work for your
users.
NOTE:
Use this method only when linking
text or images that have not yet been created.

From the Insert menu, select
Hyperlink
OR
In the Insert pane, from the Common
tab, click HYPERLINK

The Hyperlink dialog box appears.

In the Text text box, type the text
that will become the link

In the Link text box, type the
URL
OR
In the Link text box, click BROWSE FOR FILE

Locate and select the desired file

Click OK
-
Click OK
